Well I purchased some awesome rats from a friend of mine, Nathalie who owns shades of blue rattery in Canada.
Anyway, today she emailed everyone who had received a baby of hers this poem she had written just for us. It is so adorable and it really put a smile on my face!;)
Here it is. I thought you all might enjoy reading it.
"The ratties all slept, so snug in their beds,
Visions of new homes, danced in their heads.
Their breeder had bathed them, and gave them some
treats,
And they soon snuggled under, their blankies and
sheets.
3GR was the first to receive,
Some little rat babies, to crawl up their sleeve.
Then Roberta arrived, with her roomate in tow,
They each took home one, so their family did grow.
Sarah was next, and she arrived with some critters,
Little baby gerbils, who gave me the jitters.
A trade then took place, and she soon returned home,
And on that long car ride, a rattie did roam.
Next arrived Alyxx, the bearer of cages.
To deliver these rats, who had been waiting for ages.
So when the babies awake and they open their eyes,
I think they will sure, be in for a surprise.
To all of you owners, who so proudly did buy,
I say thank you and good luck, with each little guy..."
