petco today

Ok, today's the day--our local PAWS (shelter) is showing their dogs at Petco today from noon-2pm--I even turned down a shift at work because I am dying to go. They have a shiba mix, who just had 5 female puppies---please please please don't let me get one--I've already been approved by them, all I have to do is go in, and they could probably let me have the dog within the week. My husband is going with me, so that should control me--hopefully. Maybe I'll take the camera and see if I can get any pics!!

I made it out!!!
I'm on my way to dinner, but I will post some pics of the pups who got adopted today--a lot of them did!!!!

The shiba mixes weren't there--they are very sick--she said they have some type of mange and something else, and can't be shown or around all of the others yet:( She did have a pic though, they looked so sweet!!
I hope they are ok!!

Seriously though, do you think you guys will adopt another
sometime down the road? Looking forward to the pics.

Yes, we're looking at houses right now, and the one we are currently thinking about needs some work, but has a nice big backyard, and finished basement. All we would need to do is put in a fence, and we would have doggie heaven!!!!


Ok, what a great thing they had today--I almost got one of these pups, I didn't, but they all got adopted:

What cuties!! I know how hard it is. I've been at a few of the Petco adoptions and Petsmart adoptions also. They do the Petco ones right in front of the grooming, so I have to look at the cute pups all day!
