how sad, I was ready to say oh what a beautiful kitty and read about his silly antics...well he was a very beautiful cat!
if his 'humans' are a member of pettalk, please tell us more about him? his anniversery is just 2 days behind Cookie's anniversery.
I bet he was a darling:)

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a Persian cat that I had since I was nine years old. She died when she was 13. I had her ever since she was 6 weeks old. I think about her almost every day. I know Piccolo was such a good companion to you. Congrats on having him remembered even more so as being Cat Of The Day! God bless you. Remember how fourtunate we are to be loved by a cat.:D

Your tribute to Piccolo is very touching. He was a wonderful ray of sunshine in your life and we are glad to hear how special he was. Each furrbaby brings to our lives a different warmth...a special peace. Bless you for caring so much for Piccolo...and for sharing his story for our Cat of the Day! It is an honor to "meet" him.

Dear, sweet Piccolo, your time on this earth was far too brief:( Your Mom has written such a beautiful and moving tribute to her special boy. I know too well how her heart is aching. We are so fortunate to have such loving and loyal creatures to share our lives with; sadly our time together is never long enough. The love of the world truly does shine in those gorgeous, golden eyes. And the love your family has for you will never die, but live forever in their hearts. Today we honor you dear Piccolo for your loving devotion, your bravery and for being the most cherished of furfriends. Today Piccolo we are so privileged to have you named our most deserving Sunday Cat of the Day.

I'm so relieved that you never suffered, sweet Piccolo. We know that there is a precious angel in heaven and that you are sorely missed by your family. What a wonderful tribute they have made to your life!!! Rest in peace, dear Piccolo. And to your family, congratulations on having the Cat of the Day. We know he was loved!!! :)

Piccolo was a such brave boy, not wanting to show any indication of his ailment so as not to worry his loved ones . . . sadly, this is an instinctual trait of our feline friends. :(

PRECIOUIS Piccola, what a Lovely Tribute from your Humans, just two days shy of your anniversary! I see so much love in your pretty face! We too lost our orange tabby--he was six years old, but he too appeared NOT to have suffered! Like Piccola, he was so sweet and loving until the end. I know you are looking at us all still with those Golden Loving Eyes from the Rainbow's Bridge! I'm so sorry you have passed from this world, but I'm honored we all got to know you today and hear of the GREAT LOVE you brought to your Family!!! Until we all meet again, beautiful baby, LOVE FOREVER!!
p.s.--you can see a tribute to my tabby Tommy at my new website http://home.earthlink.net/~kjalen/Ginny/CatsLife.htm (under the link Gerri, which is his sister).

I am so sorry for the loss of Piccolo. I remember the day I lost my Genevieve at the age of only 12: April 15, 2000. She was diagnosed with intestinal cancer, and with chemo (which cats tolerate better than humans) she was able to live comfortably for four months before her quality of life deteriorated. It was terrible to have to make that awful decision. I sympathize very sincerely with you for the loss of your beautiful boy.
