Tonight Mark (my husband) started his new 2nd shift job. I'm not used to being alone at night, but with 3 pooches, I knew we could find things to keep us busy!
Hey dad, where you off to?

Welcome to my world Anna!! I HATE Mike's schedule, but, in this economy, I'm just glad he HAS a job! It looks like you and the poochies are adjusting well though.

Last year, before we had our dogs, and while I wasn't working, I used to get so BORED when my husband wasn't home. Now, I work, but weird hours (restaurant), so when he's not here, I love my time alone with the dogs--it's weird, but I don't feel alone at all--I get to spend quality time with my babies.
The pics are great--your dogs are all so beautiful!! I have to show Angus to my husband--he had 2 rotties (they still live with his friend in Allentown), and he just loves them to death.
Wow your pictures are all awesome! I love that profile shot of Roxey and Angus, and the one of Angus getting a big ole hug from his daddy is so sweet! Isn't it great to have three best friends to keep you company! Great pictures!
Anna, what a busy night you had with your furkids. Gosh, your kids are so beautiful. I can tell that they are such good company and kept you busy taking pictures. I hope the evening just flew for you.

man I know how you feel... I work nights and Eric works days... he gets off at 3:30 and I have to be in at 4:00 so I leave the house at 3:30..... we work at the same place so we pass each other on the way home and to work..... We see each other on the weekend though.... BUT ONE DAY.... I WILL HAVE A DAY TIME JOB!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Gini, I wouldn't exactly say the night has flew, but it's finally 1am (the time he gets off), so he should be home within the next half hour. Needless to say, I've spent waaaay too much time on the computer tonight:rolleyes:
Sara, I don't know what I would do without my little velcro Huney (yep, she's turned into my shadow:) )!
It wasn't quite as lonely as I expected, but it sure was different!
Glad that everyone liked the pictures, I'll probably be taking more, so be prepared:p

I loved the picture of Mark giving Angus a big hug! Angus looks like he just loves hugs from daddy!!
Anna, I think once you get adjusted to the change you will find lots to do. Once the weather breaks and the days get longer with daylight it will help too!

What great pics! Looks like you guys had a blast. :D
What great pictures! Looks like you all had lots of fun:) I agree dogs to keep you company while your hubby is gone. Rob works during the day but there has been times when he has worked until almost 10 P.M. The dogs kept me pretty busy while he was gone.

Wonderful pictures Anna! :) I so love the profile one of Roxey and Angus.
I have got to add that I have lived alone for over 16 years now and I believe you can never really be alone if you have a dog, and to have three gorgeous ones like yours.... I wish! (Not that I`d ever swop Bob mind :) )

I wish him the best!!! It takes some getting used to working 2nd shift, especially as late as he was working. I have worked 3-11 for 2 years and prefer it, but to each his own!!
Will keep my fingers crossed for him.
