How come my cat Stormy always has to clean my hair after or before I take a shower? I tried askin her but she doesn't answer me. Anyone have any ideas at why she does this? Or does anyone have that problem with their kitty?

Actually I have only one cat that licks my hair. And I think that he is bonding with me like he would to another cat. (kinda sweet).

Noah is notorious for this...he waits on the toilet when we shower so that we can put him on our shoulders for him to "eat" our hair. We'll be sitting or standing near him and you can see him staring at our head...its the funniest thing! :)

I've always heard that it was bonding. Grooming is how they do that.

She wants to dry you. Just like she does with herself. Filou does it with my husband who has very short hair. With me he only does it where the hair is shortest -in the neck and near the cheeks. He says the rest is too much work.

But he loves freshly showered humans too. He says they urgently need more cat perfume on them and so he gives lots of headbumpies.

Cates hate water?!?!

I think not!! Cupcake, Candy, and Boo Boo all sit together or separately on the tub while the shower is going, and just watch. When I step out, one will lick my feet and legs dry (usually Cupcake does this) When I flip my hair into the towel Boo Boo goes nuts. I have very long hair and when wet it's even longer. He gnaws and chews and PULLS on my wet hair and it hurts! Candy likes to just sit there and watch. My other cats seem to avoid the bathroom situation, but these three stooges love it!! :D :p :D :p
