Hi everyone. I just got back from buying kitty litter at the pet store. While I was there I fell in love with a black and white kitten. He is about 9 weeks old. The only one left! I would love to take him home but Hayley is only 3 months old, not spayed yet, and I really don't know how they would get alone with each other. What do you guys think I should do? I would so love to go back and get him.

I can already anticipate the answers you will get........

GO GET HIM!!!!!!

My thought is that they will be fine together, after an adjustment period!!! :D

It may take a little time but they are in the best age to meet. And for 3-4 more months minimum it can't be a problem whether Hayley is spayed or not.
They will have much fun together and give you lots of laughter and fun.
So go, get him!!!!!!!

I agree with everyone. This is the best time to put them together, they can grow up as best buddies and keep each other company.:)

GO AND GET IT !!!!!
This is the perfect time for those two to adjust to each other ! They won't be the best of friends from day 1 , but this is just a matter of time !!
So , you are on your way ??,
And how about the name ? How about Bailey ;) :D :D

Having just got a new kitten shortly before Christmas my advice is to go get him. You will experience so much pleasure with the two of them it will be worth it. :D :D

Get the kitten! If you only have one other one, they will probably get along fine. Mine were very chummy until we introduced the fourth one.

I think the timing is perfect for them to become chums and playmates. It may take a bit for them to become friends, but this is the easiest time to introduce them for them to bond.

One more vote to go for it.

Gosh is this crew predictable or what!?!

Do oyu have him yet? How about naming him Comet? I agree, this is a good time for them to get to know each other, and they can grow up together!

I was too late!:( He had already been taken home by another family. I'm sure he went to a good home because the owners at Critters and Things are so carefull who they sell the kittens to. That's where we got Hayley and we had to answer a lot of questions and fill out a lot of paper work before we could take her home. Hopefully another will win my heart really soon.:)

hayleyrose, Generally cats are best brought together when they are kittens, as this allows both of them to grow up together, unless you can determine how to purchase a furkid that will get along and not fight with one that you already have. But I believe that you will be getting another furkid soon, because you already had your heart set on the little tuxedo kitty -it is only a matter of time.:)

I always say that things happen for a reason, even if we can't see it at the time. This kitty must not have been meant for you at this time. Maybe another one is though....;) :)
