Cc the copy cat is special!

   We all known every pet is special. Texas A&M University cloned Cc the cat on December 22, 2001. Now Cc the cat is showing what we already knew that she is unique and special. The good news is that although Cc has been a lab cat she will be going to live with a family.

I am against cloning animals because I get a mental image of female dogs and cats being kept in little rooms to be surrogate moms for the cloned pups :(

But it is good that Cc is getting a home that will love her :)

I'm against cloning too, but I read these stories as saying that since Cc has her own personality and different coloring, the purpose behind cloning - to get an exact duplicate - is being proven to be false and therefore debunking the whole idea of cloning - which is a good thing.

That's the way I read it anyway. :)

I'm against cloning too. Definitely! And it proved to be false to so hahaha. :p Scientists cannot play God, no matter how hard they try..................they can't. We are human beings, we connot do what God can do, even though God has given us great intelligence, we can NEVER have the atribute of God. I am against the whole cloning idea for many reasons....................it is a cute kitty though. :)

I am against cloning also as it is not natural. The article in regards to this best describes it in one sentence. "There are millions of cats in shelters and with rescue groups that need homes and the last thing we need is a new production strategy for cats". Enough said.

I also agree. I cannot see that CC is above PT standard :D
But I am happy that her life will continue more naturally than it started and hope it will be a happy one.
