I know this is no big deal compared to all the sick kitties here right now, but its a small victory for us...Basie took his meds this evening without much drama! Yay! :)

Awww, Basie, you're such a sweetheart for your mommy. :) I'm glad you're taking your medicines because they really are for your own good. Hope you get better real quick so you don't have to take meds anymore. You andyour mommy will like that! :)

Thanks for the support! :) I hate having to man-handle him like that, I feel so bad. But, he is such a sweetie, he came right up to me afterward and wanted to play. :) He's such a blessing.

Isn't it the worst thing? Giving meds to a cat that doesn't know why your doing it?

When I had to give Nakita the eye cream it was hearbreaking. She would just let out this little weak 'mew' when we did it. Then the fur around her eyes was so greasy (since I got more on her fur than in her eye!).

Haven't had to give her pills yet, and I'm hoping I won't have to either!

Glad your surviving and that Basil is not holding a grudge!
