A colleague of my brother volunteers at the "Friends of Homless Animals," a no-kill shelter in Merrifield, Virginia. Every year they have an event at the office to raise funds for the shelter. She brings pictures of individual dogs/cats awaiting adoption pasted to an envelope and places them in a cork board. People then can chose the envelope with the photo they like and insert a donation in it. It may also be a way of introducing the pups and kittens to prospective adopters.
I think this is a great idea which might also be used by Pet Talkers who work in offices with a large (or not so large) number of people.
