Foster Bandit has just left for his new forever home!!! Woohoo! He is a landscaper who will be taking him along on his jobs. He just lost his dog to pancreatic problems. Good for Bandit (sad for me)!!

(read: Booohoooo, I am going to miss him big time!) Shiloh won't miss him, though....

That's great news!! I am sure you are sad to see him go, but sounds like he is going to be quite happy with his new owner! A friend of mine is a landscaper and has a Newfoundland. He takes her with him on his jobs everyday. He even has a campertop and air/heater in the back of his truck for Baby to lounge around!

I know how much you're going to miss him, Sue!:( But what a wonderful life he's headed for! And you gave him the best "paw up" a foster could hope for! Long and happy life to you dear Bandit! You'll always hold a special place in the hearts of Pet Talkers around the world!!:)

Good luck at your forever home Bandit. I hope your new dad lets you visit once in awhile so we can get pictures.

Congrats on getting that stunning beauty into a real good home. He is GORGEOUS! Is his new dad going to email you pics or keep in touch at all? Might be neat to hear how he's doing in his new home.

I hope you are doing OK, Sue. I know how hard it is to let them go, especially when you were strongly considering adopting him, but I think Shiloh and Killi will let you know when they want you to keep the next foster that steals your heart like Bandit did. They'll let you know when the timing and the dog are "right". Hang in there, and give yourself a pat on the back. You did a great, brave thing.
