What a wonderful idea to take your loving pet to work! I, too, work in an overcrowded, overstuffed, stressed environment. It's a public school!!! I have wanted to have my students sponsor a "Pet Day" for years, but it's on the back burner. But there is nothing more special than to have a good, loving dog come to see you during your busy day if only for a few minutes. I have one question--do you have a sign-up list for your colleagues to take turns taking her out to do her duty??? Just wondering!!! I couldn't agree more about the therapeutic benefits of having animals at work. I am a social worker in a nursing home that is also home to a dog, a cat, and a variety of birds. Not only do the residents benefit, but it helps the staff "de-stress", too. Good job, Cedar!

What a wonderful idea; I'm all for offices allowing animal mascots!
