Good morning, Sky! Happy Pet of the Day to you, sweetheart!:)

Be still my heart! What a gorgeous baby Budgie girl you are, Sky! You have the sweetest little face, and your plumage, highlighted to perfection in your photos, is over the moon gorgeous! Your rainbow coloring in that bottom photo rivals the most beautiful morning or evening sky!

And just as your human says, your personality is every bit as as bright and beautiful as your plumage! And while it took a bit of time and patience for you to settle into your new life, to learn to trust, it wouldn't be long before your true spirit would coming shining through; no longer fearful, enjoying every minute of your enchanted, carefree, love filled life to the max! And how wonderful that aside from bedtime, hehe, you're enjoying a cage free life; unfettered, joyfully flying about the house (when you're not hitching a ride on your human's shoulder)!:D And as if you could be any more perfect, you're as smart and talented as can be! Wow, how impressive is your repertoire of tricks!!!:eek:


As soon as I wake up, I uncover her and open her cage and she flies right onto my shoulder. My family will play with her while I'm at work and as I come home, she will happily greet me with some loud chirps! Sky has become a part of the family and I cannot imagine being without her!

Oh, how very lucky your family is, Sky, having a feathered family member as gorgeous, as smart, as joyful and loving as you! You truly are a gem of a girl, Sky, just as special as can be, beautiful inside and out!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, Sky! Meeting you today, reading your Mom's love filled tribute, seeing your beautiful photos has been such a treat! I hope you're being treated to a very special Pet of the Day celebration...enjoying free flight and shoulder rides, munching on some yummy Budgie treats, being loved and pampered to pieces by your devoted flock members! Dearest Sky, you are absolutely stunning! What a Beautiful Budgie you are, indeed! Your plumage is gorgeous and is shown off so well in those great photos. Thank you for sharing them with us! And what a story you have to tell! When your dear person adopted you, you were scared of people and terrified of hands. She/he slowly worked with you and gained your trust. She/he taught you many tricks like wave, roll over, fetch, and spin around, and you even fly to her on command! You're comfortable around the family now, and you're out of your cage until you go to bed. When your person wakes up, she/he uncovers your cage and opens the door, and you fly right to her shoulder! The family plays with you while she's at work, and when she gets back home you happily greet her with loud chirps. You're part of the family now, and she can't imagine being without you. You love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
