Cuteness overload alert!:D Oh my gosh, what a darling, adorable, pawsitively precious Shih Tzu boy you are, Charlie! Those big, brown eyes of yours are beyond heart-melting, and how gorgeous are those long, velvety ears!

I'm so sorry to learn your first family, through no fault of their own, found the need to surrender their beloved pup; a hard time for humans and the furry ones. Thankfully you found your way into foster, and in record time, into the home of a loving furever family; a family who had suffered their own loss and like you was in need of comfort and healing. And what a heavenly, most pawsome match it turned out to be!


There are no words to say how much we love him. He follows me all over just to make sure I am still around. I always tell him I will be back shortly which I think he understands and when I get home he greets me like he hasn't seen me for days. My heart is always full. How did we get so lucky.

How lucky your family is indeed, Charlie, having been blessed with a fur baby as beautiful and loving, as sweet and cuddly, as special as you! You certainly are a treasure, sweetheart, beautiful body and heart and so very deserving of you big day of honor!

Hope you're treated to a very special day of celebration, Charlie...taking a walk about the neighborhood, followed by a long nap in your soft, comfy bed; feasting on some yummy treats; receiving bunches of cuddles and kisses; being spoiled to the max and loved to bits for your loving pawrents! Dearest Charlie, what an utterly adorable Shih Tzu guy you are! You're absolutely gorgeous, with that glistening pale-brown fur that looks so soft and that sweet face with those lovely big dark eyes. Thank you for sharing that terrific gallery of photos with us. We can see your delightful personality shining through in them all! You love everyone, and you check on your dear person regularly. You're almost blind in one eye, and you're hard of hearing, but you know the sound of the treat packets coming out!

And what a story you have to tell, of how you came into your Furever Family's lives almost four years ago. They had recently lost their beloved fur-baby and were looking for someone else with whom to share their love. And you had been just put into foster after your previous people went to a nursing home. You had a meet and greet, and the rest is history. Home you went with your new family! You all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Charlie, on being chosen Dog of the Day! We hope you and your dear people and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and your favorite treats with their noisy packets!
