What a beautiful, precious beyond words, sweet and loving senior girl you are, Mia! Nothing brings a bigger smile to my face than seeing a senior pup being crowned Dog of the Day, and how deserving you are, Mia!

The idea that anyone could dump two defenseless, helpless puppies like trash is beyond me; heartbreaking and unconscionable! Thankfully you had the good sense to jump into your humans' truck that fateful day, and the rest is happy history!!! (I hope and pray your sibling someone how managed to find her/his way to loving home, too!)

How lucky your family is, Mia, having been blessed with a first rescue, a furkid as special as you; having known your love and companionship the past 14 wonderful years! And I'll admit I got a little teary, learning how devoted you are, not only to your humans, but to your beloved bestie football, too! You truly are a gentle soul with a heart of gold, Mia, beautiful inside and out; one in a million; the BEST!


Mia is our first rescue dog. We also have two others. We decided to keep her because she was so adorable. Cutiest puppy I ever seen. She loved to fall asleep on my chest. She always wanted to be held. We have parties at our house where all pets are welcome. She is the hostess with the mostest, and gives them all a tour of our property. She is always by our side. She sleeps at my feet. And she travels wherever we go. She never gets left behind.

Hostess with the mostest to boot!!! hehe Could you be any more perfect?:) "Never left behind..." If only ever pup, every fur baby and animal companion were as lucky as you, Mia!

What a darling little one you were, and what a beautiful lady you are! I am so glad you allowed yourself to be rescued that day!

You are the hostess with the mostest when your people have everyone over! When just the family is at home, you escort your people from room to room, making sure to accompany them. You go along on travels, too! Perfect! Best of all-- you are very much loved, as it should be!

Dearest Mia, you are adorable and precious! What a beautiful mature lady you are, with that colorful fur coat that looks so soft and that sweet face with those lovely big eyes and what looks like a big smile and probably is. And you're so cute with your football, your prize toy from your puppyhood days!

What a story you have to tell! When you were just a puppy, you and another dear pup were dumped in the country, and I can't begin to express my rage toward anyone who would do something like that. You jumped in the truck of your dear persons-to-be, and the other pup took off running. You hit the jackpot there! You became your new people's first rescue dog, and now they have two others.

You are fourteen years old now, and not a day goes by without you smiling. You're very sweet and affectionate, and you love being held and cuddled and falling asleep on your person's chest. Your people have parties at their house at which all pets are welcome. You're the hostess with the mostest, giving tours of the property! You travel everywhere with your people. You and they and your rescue housemates all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share! (And I hope and pray that your dumped-pup companion was rescued and found a good home and loving family, too!)
