Dearest Zelda, what a beautiful Norwegian Forest Cat/Tabby mix lady you are! Your brown-Tabby fur pattern is so pretty with such distinctive markings and colors, and it looks so soft. You have the sweetest face with those long white whiskers and eyebrows, that cute two-tone nose, and those lovely big jade-green eyes. You are absolutely stunning in those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us. Those tight close-ups really show you off! I wish I could reach through the screen and over to ..wherever you are in Ontario! ..and pet you. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me ;).

And what a story you have to tell! Your dear Purrrson-to-be found you one day on the roadside. You looked smaller than a normal kitten, which concerned him/her so much he/she took you to the vet to be checked out. The vet determined you'd been abused, and you and your Purrrson have been together ever since. You've been a steady, loving presence beside her/him, through the ups and downs of life. You rescued each other that day, July 23rd 2009, a memorable date for you both! You're not "just a cat," you're your Purrrson's best friend. You love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Yowzer!!! What a gorgeous Norwegian Forest Cat x Tabby girl you are, Zelda! Talk about being ready for your close up!:eek: I could spend hours gazing into those crystal clear, luminescent, emerald green eyes of yours! And your markings are every bit as striking, as bold and beautiful as your peepers!

But as beautiful a sight as you are, its your rags to riches rescue story that had my heart melted into a pool of pure mush! We all, like your human, are so grateful she looked down, not up, that fateful day, saving you from the unspeakable! Already having been abused and abandoned, we can only imagine how you managed to hang on until that human destined to be yours could find her way to you! Thankfully you did, and the rest is happy history!

What a lucky fur Mom is yours, Zelda, having a furkid as beautiful as you, having known your love and devotion the past 12 wonderful years! Just as she says, not merely a "cat," or a "pet," more than a furry friend you're family; her north star, her guiding light, the light of her life! Through good times and tough times you have been there for her and she for you, the purrfect pairing!


She's been with me through ups and downs, a steady loving presence by my side. She is not "just a cat," she's my best friend; I'm so glad I looked down when I did.

What a gem of a girl you are, Zelda, one in a million, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!

You crossed paths with your person that day. Your person knew that something was not right and brought you to the doctor. It was determined that you'd had a bad past, and you were cared for and rescued! You have been together through life's ups and downs since then. Best of all, you are a much-loved lady! PURR-fect!
