To angel Pepper's Mom/Dad~
What a most precious Syrian Hamster your beloved Pepper was, beautiful inside and out, a truly gentle and loving soul. You waited so long for your dream of being parent to a hamster to come true. But just as you say, so very worth the wait, being blessed with a fur baby as special as Pepper!:)
I looked at the hamsters every time we went into PetSmart. I had to wait two months to get Pepper, but it was completely worth the wait.
No doubt it was meant to be that you and Pepper would be as one, and what a heavenly match it turned out to be. Inside and out she couldn't have been any more special if she tried, even coming in third in that hamster ball race! But just as you say, as impressive as that win was, she was your forever winner, placing #1 in your heart each and every day of the year!
Sadly, our time with our furkids, our animal companions is never long enough. But how lucky you were to have known Pepper's love and companionship those wonderful two years, the two of you sharing countless happy times! And when she fell ill, unable to recover despite you doing all in your power to save her, you did the brave and selfless thing, sending her off on her journey to the Rainbow Bridge knowing how loved she was. And now, until that happy day when you and she are together again, she lives on in your heart and in the countless happy times you and she shared, never to be forgotten, forever loved.
I will miss her more than she will ever know, and she will always have a special place in my heart. As much as I would like to see her get better, she was suffering, and I couldn't keep her like that. So, Pepper, I love you and always will. Everyone who knew you, even Riley (my dog - who was afraid of her), will miss you.
Thank you so much for sharing your precious Pepper with us, giving us the honor of paying tribute to her and all that she meant to you, and you to her. I hope seeing her being crowned Pet of the Day, knowing that you and she will one day be reunited, brings you some comfort and puts a smile on your face. She truly was a treasure, one in a million, our very special and most deserving Pet of the Day, forever and always!:love::love:
Pepper, sweet angel girl~
Your human was one lucky guy/girl, having been blessed with a best friend, a furry family member as beautiful, as gentle and loving, as special as you. No doubt you did know how loved you were, and loved your human back ten fold. What a beautiful bond you and she/he shared! Now, sweet little one, scamper healthy and whole at the Rainbow Bridge...racing in your ball, feasting on your favorite foods and treats, playing happily with all of our much loved fur angels! And send down your love to your human, Pepper, to comfort her/him. She/he misses you so very much!
Precious angel Pepper, forever loved~
