Dearest Shawkat, what an utterly sweet tiny little girl you are! You're just a child, only three and half months old, and you're absolutely adorable! Thank you for sharing all those great photos with us. They show you at different stages of your life so far, and we can see how much you've grown in this short time. You're such a cute tiny kitten in the first shot, and that photo of you as an infant being bottle-fed is precious! And then we see signs of the Tuxedo cat you're growing into, you sitting up and looking up, and then being held up to the sun and looking even more like the cat you're becoming. I wish I could reach through the screen and around the world to Saudi Arabia and gently pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved friend will pet you for me :).
And what an amazing story you have to tell! You were abandoned by your mother when you were just a day or two old. Your dear friend-to-be found you on the ground and thought at first you were already gone, but then she realized you were still alive and brought you home. She rushed out and brought back milk and a syringe, and then a small bottle because you wouldn't drink from the syringe. You drank from that, so she fed you every two hours, day and night, until you finally began to eat on your own. She failed a college course because she hadn't been able to sleep or study during that time, but it was worth it, and she's really glad you made it. (And so am I!)
You're very playful, and day after day, she loves you more and more. She even thinks of you as her daughter! Sometimes you act as if you're nursing from her and put your face against her belly or between her body and arm, purring away. She feels bad for you when you do this, but I think it's beautiful, showing how much you love and trust her. Now you're a happy kitten, living a happy life, and you want to be with her always. You and she love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Shawkat, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear friend and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
