Dearest Tilly, what a sweet little young lady you are! You are absolutely adorable in that great photo, and thank you for sharing it with us. Your Calico and white fur is so pretty and looks so very soft, and you have the sweetest face with those perky ears and lovely big pale yellow-green eyes. And I love that cute little beauty mark (is that heart-shaped?!) in the white fur to the left of your nose! You look so content and relaxed there, and I wish I could reach through the screen and over the sea to Shropshire, England, UK to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me ;).

And what a story you have to tell! You had a scary start, in a serious road accident, which necessitated several operations and left you with one of your rear legs amputated. No previous owner came forward to claim you once you were well, but that turned into your good fortune: As your dear Purrrmanent Purrrson says, now you are "a lovely, happy cat with a new home with people who love her. Me." You like to sleep on his/her bed far more than any cat bed he/she has tried, but that's all right! You're an inspiration, and you never let being a tripod kitty bother you. You're sweet and soft, and you're very much a loved part of the family. Your Purrrson thinks all cats should be, and I couldn't agree more! You love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Tilly, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrson and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

Hi Tilly! Happy Cat of the Day to you sweetheart, from everyone here, including my Orange Tabby Tigg'r, a fellow tripod!:)

I'm so sorry to hear of your sad and challenging start at life, Tilly, having been hit by that car resulting in multiple surgeries, your leg being amputated."( Sadder still, once healed, no one came forward to claim you.:( But wait!!!

Sadly no one forward to claim her once she was well. She has had her rear leg amputated and now she is a lovely, happy cat with a new home with people who love her. Me

Yippee!!! Endless thanks to your Mom for welcoming you home, sweetheart, providing you with that happy, carefree, love filled life you and all animals deserve!

On a side note, my Tigg'r lost his leg post injury year ago and me, being a nurse, was so fearful of how he might fare minus a limb. But just as the vet assured me, I soon realized that kitties and dogs have such an amazing ability to function with such a limitation; back in full form, enjoying life to the max in record time! And so it was for you, putting your best paw forward, relegating all of those tough times to the trash and bouncing back like nobody's business, loving your new Mom and life to the fullest!

She is an inspiration - she never lets being a "tripod" - three-pawed - kitty bother her one bit.

What an inspiration you are indeed, Tilly! Your Mom is one lucky lady, having been blessed a furkid as beautiful, as sweet and loving, as strong and brave, as special as you! And for you? Suffice it to say you hit the furever home jackpot! hehe

Thanks for the BIG smiles, Miss Tilly! Happy homecoming stories such as yours truly are the best of Cat of the Day! Enjoy your big day in the spotlight, Tilly, being loved and pampered to pieces by your wonderful family, being treated to all your heart desires and more! Lots of love, cuddles and kisses to you, beautiful Tilly, our very special and most deserving Cat of the Day, EVERY day!!!:love::love:

Be still my heart!!!
