Dearest Alice, you are so adorable indeed! You are the cutest little Tuxedo girl, with that fluffy fur that looks so soft, and that sweet face with those lovely big pale-green eyes and that interesting bit of black spilling over to one side of your nose. Thank you for sharing that great photo with us! You're so cute settled there on that hardwood floor with the sun warming your back half. I wish I could reach through the screen and across the country to San Jose to pet you, and pet your kitty housemate, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you both for me ;).

And what a story you have to tell! You and your siblings were born one April day in an alley in San Francisco. A kind animal lover found you all and brought you to the pound. No one claimed any of you, but we're so very glad and grateful that the San Francisco SPCA took the pound's "overflow," including you and your family. Soon your siblings were adopted, and you were still there when your dear Purrrsons-to-be met you there. You were so sweet and "clumsy," just three months old. You and they fell in love and adopted each other immediately, of course! You went Home that day and met your dear new kitty housemate. It took a little time for you two to get used to each other, with hissing going in both directions. But ever since, you've been the best of buddies.

You have the most delightful Purrrsonality! You're interested in everything, you always have a loving attitude, and you're never moody. You're very creative, and you find joy in anything that comes your way. You are an inspiration for all who meet you, teaching everyone to have a positive attitude and simply enjoy our lives. You and your kitty and Purrrsons all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Hi Alice! Happy Cat of the Day to you, sweetheart!:) How lucky are we, having a beautiful, sleek and shiny, golden eyed Tuxie girl gracing our Cat of the Day page today!

You and your siblings sure did have a sad start at life, Alice. Thankfully some kind soul, an animal lover, came to your rescue before any harm would come to you, the shelter turning you over to the SPCA who would provide you and your littermates safe refuge as you waited on your furever homes! And oh, what a happy new beginning it turned out to be for you and your siblings!


Soon all of Alice's brother and sisters were adopted. Alice was the last one left of the litter. When we saw her, she was kind of playing on her own and her three-month-old body was so sweet and "clumsy"... we knew she had to come home with us.

Now, what's that saying? Something about saving the best for last?:) Truer words were never spoken when it comes to you, sweetheart! And what a heavenly match you and your family make! It may have taken your sibling a bit of time to come around! All that mutual fussing and hissing all for show no doubt 'cause just look at you two now: the best of buds!

How lucky your family is, Alice, having a furkid as joyful and sociable, as laid back and loving, as special as you! Your positive outlook on life truly is an inspiration to us all!
