Hi Mocha! Congratulations on being crowned Pet of the Day, sweetheart!:)
What an unexpected treasure your *special person* (your Shetland Pony pal and the chickens too:D) were gifted the day your showed up at the farm, Mocha!
There are countless rescue stories of stray kitties and doggies showing up on doorsteps and being adopted, but a goat?:eek: We can only imagine how you came to find yourself homeless, wandering and seeking help for your horribly injured leg. Thankfully you found your way to the most loving and caring of forever homes, a place of safe refuge and healing! I have to believe you somehow knew that with them you would be well cared for and loved, forever and always, and so it is!
Mocha is special because she found me. She had come one day when my grandfather was in the hospital, so I was feeding the animals by myself. I had gone to the chicken pen and I heard a goat, even though we didn't have one. I looked around the pen and found this goat with a broken leg right outside the door of the pen, as if waiting to be let in.
How lucky your human is, Mocha, having a beautiful, playful, devoted and loving best friend in you; having been chosen by you to be your one and only! The very special bond you and she/he share warms my heart to its core!:) As the saying goes, sometimes the best things in life come along when we least expect them and you, Mocha, are living proof of that! You truly are one amazing, brave and courageious, EXTRA special girl, Mocha, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!
