Sweet Stinky!

Dearest Stinky, what a good-looking guy you are! You are so handsome with that mixture of brown-black Tabby and white fur that looks so soft, and that sweet face with the cute pink and brown-black nose and those long, LOOONG white whiskers and those lovely big eyes. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us! What a nice assortment of images.. you sitting up on the bed, then comfortably settled along Dad's arm, and then a closer shot of you gazing straight out at me with semi-closed eyes. You're so relaxed and contented in them all! I wish I could reach through the screen and down to Richardson, TX to pet you. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you for me ;).

You have quite a story to tell. You've been with your dear Purrrsons for about seven months now. You got your name because on the drive home with your new Dad you dropped an S-bomb! Mostly you're called that because you're anything but.

You have such a delightful Purrrsonality! You love your dear Mom and Dad and kids (your skin-siblings) and Roxy the 55lb black lab. You're very affectionate, and you love everybody. You play with and groom Roxy as if she's your sister! And you are so good with your dear autistic brother Ethan, helping teach him to be gentle. You're very curious, very kitten-like since everything is new to you. You have a little toy that you play fetch with and catch with your paws. You like to be near Mom and Dad and sense that they are your parents! We're so sorry to learn they lost their sweet Kitty, only ten years old, quite suddenly. They were afraid to get another cat at first, but after about four months you joined the family. You've been such a comfort, and you fit perfectly in! You all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Stinky, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Roxy and Ethan and Mom and Dad and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite treats and games and more fetch games with your favorite toy. We know that dear Kitty Angel is rejoicing with you at the Rainbow Bridge!

Hi Stinky! Happy Cat of the Day to you, sweetheart!:)

What a handsome (dare I say "fetching?":p) Tabby x boy you are, Stinky! Being mom to a Lab and kitty, I laughed out loud at your human describing you as the fetcher in the family, your Lab sis Roxy...not so much!:D

How lucky your family was, Stinky, the day you came into their lives! You truly are a friend to all, just as sweet and loving as can be! And contrary to what your name would have us believe, just as your mom says, you truly are anything but "stinky," though as the youngsters would say, you truly are "the bomb!":cool:


We call him Stinky because in the car on the way home with my husband he could not wait and dropped astink bomb. Mostly we call him Stinky because he is anything but. He loves our 55lb black lab Roxy, our children, just about anyone he meets.

Guess you just couldn't contain your um, :excitement!":D Well, you certainly made an auspicious entrance, hehe, and every day since you've brought nothing but comfort and joy, love and laughter to your humans' days...especially to dear Ethan!


He even plays with our autistic son Ethan. Having Stinky has helped us teach Ethan to be gentle. He likes to be near us because he senses that we are his parents. He sleeps with us either on my husband's feet or on my tummy. We lost our sweet Kitty, only ten years old quite suddenly and were a little afraid to get another cat after only about four months, but Stinky has been such a comfort and fits perfectly into our family.

One heavenly match, a perfect fit for your family, that you are, indeed! Your family is so very blessed, having a furkid and best friend, a healer and source of endless joy in you, Stinky...the love of their lives! You do your beloved predecessor, Kitty, proud!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Meeting you today, reading your mom's love filled tribute and seeing your heart-melting photos has been such a treat! I hope you're treated to a very special Cat of the Day celebration...grooming and teaching fur sis Roxy how to fetch, hehe; spending special time with Ethan; chowing down on some yummy treats; cuddling with your humans; being loved and pampered to pieces!
