Greetings, Donna in the Netherlands! Congratulations on being crowned Pet of the Day, sweetheart, and how deserving you are!:)
I was so moved, reading your young lady's heartfelt and love filled tribute to her beautiful Welsh Pony girl, learning of the very special bond of love and trust you and she share! You endured more than your fair share of pain and loneliness in your early life, before finding your way to your lady, but blessedly those sad times are but a distant memory now! Your lady knew the moment she laid eyes on you that you and she were meant to be as one, your one and only, and what a heavenly match it turned out to be!
I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your and your lady's beloved wise "Old Man." No doubt his passing left a big hole in your lady's heart. But how lucky she was to have had you to turn to for comfort, to lean on during those sad times as her heart healed, loving her unconditionally!
And even if I have let her down, especially after my older horse died, she was always there for me. There was never a moment she lost hope. And more importantly, she lifts up my spirits any time with her big brown eyes and funny character.
How well you are caring on the Old Man's legacy, Donna, bringing so much happiness to your lady's life! And oh, to think you will soon be a mom yourself! No doubt you are going to be the best horse mom ever!:)
What a lucky lady is yours, Donna, having a beautiful, loyal and loving best friend in you! So much more than a pet, you're family...best pony a human could ever hope for!
Thanks to your lady for sharing your heartwarming backstory with us! Meeting you today has been such a treat! I hope you enjoy a very special day of celebration...spending special time with your lady, munching on your fave treats, being loved and pampered to pieces! Lots of love and a big hug to you, beautiful Donna, our very special and most deserving Pet of the Day, EVERY day!!!:love::love:
