Dearest Pearl, what a beautiful Chesapeake Bay Retriever you are! You're gorgeous, absolutely stunning with that soft-looking golden coat and matching eyes, standing there in that pond looking up at me. You love water, don't you, fresh or salt, any place! Playing fetch in a pond or lake is your favorite game. You're the State Dog of Maryland but live in upstate New York. You have fresh-water rivers and ponds and streams and brooks rather than the salty Atlantic Ocean, but you don't seem to mind. You're such a sweet girl, who loves nothing more than a good nap by the fire after a hard day of play. You are priceless to your dear people! You and they all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
