Dearest Clucker, what a gorgeous fellow you are indeed! You're such a handsome Maine-Coon-mix guy, with that fluffy, colorful tabby-pattern and white fur that looks so soft, and that sweet face with the cute two-tone nose and those lovely big eyes. You are quite the big boy there in that great photo, and thank you for sharing it with us. All the more to love, says my sweet orange-tabby girl Sparkler! I wish I could reach through the screen and over to South Jersey, NJ to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you for me :).

And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You joined your family some ten years ago when you were just one year old, and since then you've been the sweetest cat that's ever lived! You don't get into territorial disputes with other cats, and the only hunting you do is when mice are stealing bits of dry food from your feeding area. Your dear Purrrsons say you're not fat, you're just big-boned. That seemed to happen one weekend while they were away, and when they returned, they found you'd eaten three pounds of dry food from the self-feeder! Ever since then, your weight had stayed about the same (and I hope your vet is keeping tabs on your weight). You and your Purrrsons all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

As for that feeding fiasco...I'll never forget the day I brought home my first doggie rescue. I was a novice dog mom, so followed the recommendations on the dog food bag. BIG mistake!:D My vet asked, "what were you thinking!" lol Fortunately at the time I was more knowledgeable re proper feline feeding!


We left out plenty of water and a Purina self feeder. When we returned three pounds of dry food were gone and the cat looked bigger! I thought maybe I'm feeding him too much, so I checked the cat food (http://catoftheday.com/#) bag for feeding suggestions, apparently he qualifies as a medium-sized dog.

:D:D:D Needless to say, Clucker, you're purrfect just as you are; SO much feline purrfection to love!!!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Meeting you has been a blast! Hope tomorrow you enjoy a very special day of celebration....taking a walk in your back yard, rolling in your catnip patch, taking a nice nap, being love and pampered to pieces by your proud pride of humans!
