P.S. It's true, people need to do research before buying/adopting any pet, no matter how small or big. Almost all of the small pets we've adopted were neglected by ignorant humans. :(

Hi Jiggles! Happy Pet of the Day to you!:)

If your stunning, emerald coloring wasn't enough to recommend you, you're named Jiggles!:D But as beautiful in looks as you are, it's the very special bond you share with your Mom, the comfort and healing you've brought to her life that makes you the EXTRA special boy that you are! The star of the Halifax Reptile Show you were indeed, and deservedly so! But nowhere does your star shine more brightly than in you Mom's heart!



So, after my husband was talking about doing something with his hobby, I asked for my Jiggles. And I got him! :-) Now, I don't feel down hardly at all. I have someone that will listen to me and not say a word. I also now am in the works of joining a local group of Reptile owners and am getting involved in a hobby of my own.

I'm so happy for your mom that finally found that hobby, that "lap dog," that special companion she's been wanting, NEEDING for so long! But as your wise Mom says, Green Iguanas (reptiles in general), are not for everyone! Hopefully, as your Mom did, anyone considering welcoming home a companion as unique as you do all of the research necessary to assure a happy fit all around! One thing is for sure. You and your Mom make for one perfect fit, one heavenly match!

Dearest Jiggles, you are stunning! What a beautiful Green Iguana you are. And what a terrific companion you are to your dear Mom! She's home with the kids all day, and she needed a hobby, and you turned out to be the perfect one. She even took you to the Reptile Show, where you were the star attraction! You're a real little clown, and you don't like baths. You and she love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Mom has a wise message for us: "Green Iguanas are great pets, but only to people that are knowledgeable about them. And they are not for everyone, do your research before getting one of these guys!"
