Dearest Casey Patrick, what a gorgeous Keeshond you are! You are absolutely adorable with that fluffy fur that looks so soft and that sweet face with those lovely dark eyes looking straight out at me. You're "a giant economy-sized Keeshond," AKC registered and having all the usual Keeshond traits - there's just more of you to love! And what a story you have to tell. Your original person had died, and you'd been passed around all over for a couple of months. Then, you came to a person who didn't want you but at least cared enough to find you a good home with people who would love you.

Now you are in your terrific Real Furrrever HOME with your wonderful Furrrever Family, living the life you deserve (and deserved all along)! It took time and obedience training and a lot of love for you to settle down, but now you are head of the house and the light of your family's lives. You all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Casey, on being chosen today's Dog of the Day! We hope you and your dear people and lady Keeshond housemate and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

Hi Casey! Congratulations on being crowned Dog of the Day!:)

What a handsome, oh so fluffy Keeshond you are, sweetheart! Yep, I knew straight away you weren't a Great Pyrenees, even though by rhw Keeshond breed standard you truly are giant sized, and not just physically, but in personality and heart as well! SO much Casey to love!

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your first parent. It's never a happy time, having to re-home a furkid due to such sad circumstances. But what's sadder still, is having been "passed around" to several so called families, suffering such horrible neglect and abuse at their hand. I can't imagine anyone not wanting a pup as beautiful as you, but blessedly, despite not being wanted by your last failed "owner," you found you way to safety, to a truly committed family!

His original owner had died two months previously and he had been passed around to several people before ending up with a lady who didn't want him, but cared enough to find him a decent home. He was filthy, wormy and had NO manners. He had also lost half of his left ear. We'll never know that story.

Yes, you sure did hit the forever family jackpot, the day your humans adopted you, opening up their home and hearts to one very special boy! Finally, you were living the happy, carefree, love filled life you always deserved, healed physically and emotionally, living your best life! You amazing transformation is testament to the healing power of time, patience, training and most of all, unconditional love! Even your once reluctant Keeshond sister now agrees that you're the best!:D

How blessed your family is, having a furkid, a "head of the house," as beautiful, as sweet and loving, as well mannered as you, Casey! You truly are the light of their lives, just as special as can be, a gem!!!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Reading your heartwarming rags to riches, happy new beginning story has been a joy! I hope you were treated to a very special day of celebration, Casey...ruling over the household, hehe; playing with your Keeshond sister; chowing down on all of your fave foods; being loved and pampered to pieces by your proud parents! Lots of love, hugs and kisses to you, precious Casey Patrick, our very special and most deserving Dog of the Day, EVERY day! Love to your dear fur sis, too!:love::love:

Beautiful Casey Patrick!!!
