The big black boy is Onyx. He can reach the countertops without really stretching all that much. He weighs eighteen pounds and is big ball of love.
The kitten is little Felicia. She's three months old tomorrow and weighs just under two pounds! My biggest and littlest feline babies!

Onyx -is he a Maine Coon? Looks slim at this weight.
Cuties, both of them.

We aren't sure what Onyx is. He was left in a box outside the humane society with his littermates at about 8 weeks old. I adopted him at 4 months. I suspect he is a Maine Coon cross. He is double coated and my vet says his weight is healthy.

How absolutely sweet! The big and the little- doesn't matter to them, though, does it?

Aww they are both so cute. I love little Felicia, is she the cat who is handicapped? If she is she's looking great.

Yup, that's her. Her one leg seems to be straightening out nicely. The other one is partially fused, but it's possible that we can fix that when she is bigger. In any case, it doesn't slow her down at all. She loves to chase and wrestle with big cats.

What a sweet picture of your big boy and little girl. :) My cat Pepper is between 17-18lbs. and is also black. I call Sunny my little one since he's only about 11-12lbs and is very long and lean. :)

They certainly are an odd couple of cats , both vry beautiful! And it is true that I have cats of varying sizes from Moose the Magnificent 20 lbs to my minature simese Diane who at 9 years old is 8.5 lbs. Yet my bigger cats Joseph , 16 lbs , and Rascal 15 lbs dont throw thier weight around and bully the little ones. They are Gentle Giants and big furkids as well!
