Dearest Dante, you are precious! What an adorable orange tabby with white guy you are! My orange tabby with white girl Sparkler says "Hello, Meow!" You are so very cute, indeed! That beautiful fur looks so soft, and what a sweet face you have with that perky pink nose and those lovely big golden eyes. I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Chicago to pet you, and pet your new brother Lexington, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved mommy will pet you both for me :).

And what a story you have to tell! When you were just a baby, your house caught on fire, but your mommy-cat rescued you and your 12 siblings, and then the nice shelter people took care of you until you were adopted. Great thanks to those wonderful shelter-people for looking after you all so well, and great thanks to your mommy-cat for saving you all (and herself too, we hope)!

You have the most delightful Purrrsonality! You are a three-year-old kitten
running around and playing with all your toys. You also like to chew on things. You are very conversational with your dear Purrrsons, answering questions with a "Rrow!" and asking them with a head-tilt and a "Merr?" sound. You are a real love-bug. That's adorable the way your mommy scoops you up and cuddles you, and you give her nose kisses, as many as she asks for! You also like to play with Lexington, and even though he isn't very interested yet, soon you will win him over with your charm. You and he and your dear Purrrsons all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

My name is Dante and I am so very cute. I know this because my mommy like to scoop me up and cuddle me, and I give her kisses with my nose, as many as she asks for. When I was just a baby the house I was living in caught on fire, but my mommy-cat rescued me and my 12 siblings and then the nice people at the shelter took care of us until we were adopted.

I am three years old but I am still a kitten at heart. I love to run around the house and play with and chew on all my toys, like my kitty dangler(s), which are tasty treats, too! I like to chew on everything, like boxes and books. One time I tore half the cover off one of my daddy's school books with just one bite. My favorite thing to do is wrestle with my stuffed catnip mouse. I have more toys than most children! I am afraid I am very spoiled. When I want attention I speak to my people. When they ask me a question, I answer with a "Rrow!" When I am curious, I tilt my head and make a "Merr?" sound. That way, everybody knows what I am saying.

I also like to play with my new brother, Lexington. He is eight years old and not a rambunctious as I am. I lay on my back and bat at his face, and sometimes he plays back, but mostly he ignores me. Soon I will win him over with all my charm!

When my mommy comes home all I want to do is play with her. Then, at bedtime, I crawl into her arms and purr, purr, purr. I lay my face against hers and together we have sweet dreams of catnip.
