You seem to have the nap pose down pat. My tuxedo cat, Doobie, loves to sleep on either one of my legs or between my legs at night. Doobie is my fat baby. Sweet Oreo! The white stripe on your tummy has such a magnetic appeal to me. I would love to make rude noises on your tummy as I used to do with my Genevieve. She would lie there and purr like a maniac while I made loud brrrraappping sounds on her tum. She was a little weird--and so is her mommy! Congratulations on being COTD and Happy New Year.

Isn't it soo true - there is nothing quite like belly-sugar on a soft tummed kitty! You're far from weird, you appreciate one of the finer things of life: kitty belly!!!

I will share a brief story: I saw a cat in my car's rear view mirror today as I was leaving work that looked like a skinny stray , and it appeared to be limping... I quickly recircled the block to find it instead of going right home, but unfortunately it had disappeared somewhere. I felt sad for this baby and hoped it wasn't stray or hurt, but I said a PRAYER too--I prayed that if it really is lost, that it'll find a LOVING HOME with beautiful people, JUST LIKE all the wonderful pet lovers here on PET TALK!!!

(correction to my typo in my first post: Oreo McFlurry DESSERT, not desert... I guess I've lived in Arizona too long, ha,ha)! :) :p ;)

I know I am a sucker for a cat noone wants, three of my cats were cats noone wanted. Francine was the runt of her litter and being part Siamese she had to age into her colors. She was computer monitor tan with gray eyes when she was born and noone thought she was worth having. I took her as a favor to my friend and I am so glad I did. Doobie was my former neighbor's kitten and the neighbor got mad at her boyfriend and left. The girl took Doobie's mom, but left her and the boyfriend threw Doobie out. I couldn't resist, plus Doobie would get out of her orginal owner's lap and come to me when I went to visit. Manny came by my apartment the Monday before Thanksgiving very skinny and dirty. I took him to the vet and got him shots. I wanted to make sure he wouldn't give my girls anything. I am a VERY proud catmama. I love all my kids with fur!:D
Oreo McFlurry you can nap with me or snuggle me ANYTIME. You are such a cutie. Congrats on being COTD!
