What a perfect choice you are for our extra special Valentine's Day honors, Shermy, for they just don't come any sweeter, any more loving than you; a true stealer of hearts! Endless thanks to your amazing family for their advocacy, encouraging others to choose rescue! If anyone should ever doubt the priceless rewards of animal adoption, guinea pig adoption, they need only read your human's love filled tribute, your heartwarming rags to riches backstory!

I'm so sorry you and your brother came to find yourselves in of a home, your brother having been adopted solo, leaving you to languish far too long in the shelter. But while for you the wait was long, in the end, you couldn't have hoped to land in a more loving, devoted forever home, every guinea pig's dream family come true! Yes, you truly are living the carefree, love filled, good life now, right down to that yummy assortment of fresh veggies, vit C supplements (SO important) and premium Oxbow hay and pellets! But better still is all the love being heaped upon you each and every day! Yes, you certainly experienced more than your fair share of trauma early on, Shermy, but being the champ that you are, no amount of neglect could dampen your true inner spirit, your love for life and humans!

What a lucky human is yours, Sherman, having a furkid as beautiful and loving as you in her/his life! You're just as special as they come, Shermy, beautiful inside and out, and so very deserving of your big day in the spotlight! Thanks for the BIG smiles, cutie pie! Meeting you today, being treated to all of your over the moon, utterly heart-melting pics, has been a joy! I hope you're enjoying a very special Valentine's Day/Pet of the Day celebration...being treated to extra floor time then napping in your igloo; munching on radicchio, carrots and apple; receiving countless cuddles and kisses; being loved and pampered to pieces! Dearest Sherman, you are "The Champ" indeed! You had some harrowing experiences early on, but then you and your dear special people met, and you adopted each other right away. Now you are living your new, carefree life in your terrific forever home, with people who love you and feed you veggies and fruit and Vitamin C tablets and Timothy Treats! You are full of energy and make them smile with all your antics. You love to play and throw your toys and hide things. You are also very affectionate, and you enjoy receiving hugs/kisses, often "melting" at your person's neck purring when you're picked up for a cuddle. You and they all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful, love-filled home you share!

We thank your dear people for adopting so many adult/senior guinea pigs from the Humane Society over the past 30+ years! And also for encouraging everyone to "adopt homeless pets (big or small) because they all deserve love/care/respect, no matter what their age, size or pedigree." God bless them and you and all the animals!
