Inka is giving up now....... ....

Pfff, as if it's not enough yet...: our Inka is sick too now.
We went to the vet this morning because she goes to the litterbox every 5 minutes, and there she leaves some pee on the floor...!
She also looks sick....!
Well, she got two injections; we had to hold her with those extra long sledes, because she was completely yupset because the vet put a thermometer in her butt...!
Diagnose: bladder stones and struvite
Let's hope the injections work as fast as the same thing she had 2 years ago...!I cannot take another loss after we had to let go Maya & Zazou this Spring....:(:(:(
She is already 16 years 3months old.....
We don't have to change her food because she is already on a Hills Prescription Diet, C/D.....

It seems that Inka is getting better now. she does't run to the letterbox every 5 minutes, and she is not peeing on the floor any longer.
She also starts eating and drinking again.
But she is sleeping all the time now. I hope this means she is really getting better

Bad news again......:(:(
Inka is giving up.....; she can NOT stand on her feet anymore, she is refusing food and hardly drinks anymore; she just lays there on her blanket or catbed...
She is so lethargic.....
Her CH is really bad now, she cannot stand on her feet or walk to another place. Last night she peed on the carpet, because she didn't manage to reach the litterbox....
The vet thinks she is giving up... . She is going out like a candle....

This is so very sad, we can hardly accept this, since we have already lost 2 of our much loved cats this year.... .
It really is so unfair......:(:(:(

This morning we saw that she needed a pit-stop to the litterbox.
She was trying to walk, but her hintlegs refused to work, and her frontlegs were not strong enough to do the job on their own....:eek::(
Since then, we put her in the litterbox every few hours,
As she cannot go to where the catfood is being served either, Bernard brings the food and then water to her couch.
She still is't eating enough, but every bit of food she gets in, is better than nothing at all....!
Poor sweet kittycat, it is breaking our heart to see her like this...
Inka has always been our very talkative girl, but now she even hasn't meowed one single time since a few days...
Please sweetheart, do not leave is now, we are NOT ready at all for that :(:(:(:(:(

I'm SO sorry to hear this, I know how hard it would be to lose Inka now, after losing Maya and Zazou, and the break-in but it sounds like she has given up. :( Keep her comfortable as long as you can; perhaps give her water through a syringe, but don't let her suffer.

It is really going down hill fast now...... ; this afternoon we brought her her waterbowl, and she drank a bit.
But....... Everytime she trowed it all up less then 5 minutes later :eek::eek::(
Inka can NOT walk at all anymore.......
We are at our appartement at the Belgian coast now (in Ostend), but tomorrow morning we will get home asap, and then we will take her to the vet......:(
Our sweet loving girl is ready to cross the bridge now.........
This year 2018 will be the most possible worst year ever........: 3 of our "Gabriels Girls" went to the bridge.....
It is more than I can take :(:(:(:(:(:(
