Maverick loves dressing up, guarded my daughter's crib from her first days home, came and got me when she cried, protects us, loves the beach, loves other dogs, loves running, and sits pretty

True to your vaunted breed, you're just as smart and athletic, as energetic, as loyal and loving as they come! But seriously, I was blown away by the countless commands you've mastered!:eek:


He knows tons of commands. We trained him by talking to him like a person. He knows go in the other room, go upstairs, go through the tube, hop up (on something), go down (stairs or slide), get out of the kitchen, sit, lay, stay, put your head down, get (jumps about four feet to get a treat), pretty boys (dances on his hind legs), over (for hurdles), and tons of other things just there are so many I can't remember them all.

Like I said...smart, talented and athletic! But what makes you so EXTRA special is your big heart, your unwavering devotion to your family, especially the little one! Your family is one lucky, lucky bunch, having a best friend, a loving companion, a protector and comforter, a card carrying furry family member in YOU! You're a treasure, Maverick, simply THE BEST EVER, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Meeting you has been a real treat!
