Oh my goodness, what a scary start you had at life! Thank goodness your people saw you and were able to get you away from the side of the road! Your meowmie took care of you when you were just weeks old. You are a survivor for sure!

What a gorgeous kitten you are, with your shiny black fur and your gem-like eyes! You were not too sure about Sushi at first, but you two have become buddies and playmates! PURR-fect! How wonderful that both of you have helped meowmie through some difficult times :love: Best of all, you are much-loved kitties! I hope you get to celebrate your special day with play time or maybe a delicious treat! I am sending you and Sushi some extra petting and snuggles for your special day :love:!

Congratulations on being honoured as Cat of the Day, Pax!

I'm so sorry about the rough start in life you had, losing your mom and your siblings. You must have been very scared and hungry. :(

It’s a miracle that you survived another 24 hours before your dad and his daughter went looking for you, but so glad they did, and found you. Luckily your mom is a vet and knew how to care for you and get some nutrition into you.

You soon bonded with your new mom and sleeps with her, in fact you are her best friend. :) You comfort her from the loss of granddad and the divorce of her parents - what a precious girl you are! And you have become friends with Sushi, too, I bet you are having a great time playing together - just what you need! :)

Enjoy a day of fun and celebration with your mom and Sushi, get pampered with yummy treats and lots of love. I wish you a long, happy and healthy life, sweetie! :love:

Dearest little Pax, what an adorable youngster you are! You are precious indeed, a 10-month-old growing girl. You are so pretty with that soft-looking plush black fur with occasional touches of white, and the sweet face with those lovely big golden eyes. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us. You are so cute in them all, and that one of you as a tiny baby is beyond precious! I wish I could reach through the screen and down to Tennessee to pet you, and pet your kitty pal Sushi, too. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Meowmie will pet you both for me ;).

And what a scary but ultimately heart-warming story you have to tell! You were a tiny kitten alongside the road, cold and starving and frightened. Your cat-mom and siblings had not survived. You were seen by a fine, good person driving by, who went home and brought his daughter back, and they both looked for you. They couldn't find you then, but they went back the next day and found you and brought you home! They took care of you along with their mother/wife who is a vet! She didn't think you would survive, but you did. We thank this wonderful family who reached out and did so much to help you, this precious young soul! You slowly got better, with your new Meowmie taking care of you around the clock, even weaning you. Once you were stronger, you were introduced to your kitty brother Sushi. You didn't hit it off at first, but soon you started playing together, and now you are the best of friends! Your dear Meowmie loves you both very much, and you and she and Sushi have developed the deepest bond. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Pax, on being chosen Wednesday's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Meowmie and Sushi and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

There are no words for the gratitude I feel toward the wonderful human being who rescued Pax and who has provided her with such a good life after her tragic start. She looks like a confident beauty who rests in the comfort of knowing that she will always be loved and provided for.

What a brave, beautiful girl you are, Pax, a true survivor, and just as your mommy says, special in ways too numerous to mention here!

Endless thanks to your mommy, to her mom and dad for rescuing you, doing all in their power to save you! And how well you have repaid the compassion shown you, bringing so much comfort and healing to your mommy's life, being there for her through those most difficult of times, including the passing of her beloved grandpa, her parents' divorce. Through it all your devotion has been unwavering, your love, unconditional! A human couldn't hope for more in a fur kid!


In conclusion, they are special because of everything they are, everything they've done, and who they will become. They are special because they are Momma's (me) baby boy and girl ! I love you so much Sushi and Pax! You guys will always be special to your momma!!

How lucky your mommy is, having a best friend, a loyal and loving companion, a furry soul mate in you, sweetheart!
