What an adorable, cutie patootie puperoo you are, Shevek!:D I so enjoyed meeting you today, seeing all of your heart-melting photos, learning of the happy, fun and love filled, action packed life you lead there in the heartland with your devoted human! What a perfect "first" your human has been blessed with, Shevek! In looks and in personality, you couldn't be more perfect if you tried! How lucky your mom/dad is, having a never ending source of love and laughter, comfort and joy, in you...her/his "little heart!"


I can't imagine life without my little guy. When I am writing, he sleeps in a little cushion under my desk. I'm reminded of Edith Wharton's quote: "My little dog - a heartbeat at my feet." That's how I feel about my pup - he is my little heart.

And being the happy, outgoing, big hearted boy that you are, a friend to all, it's no surprise to learn that all who cross your path fall hopelessly in love! Mr. Personality, that you are, making friends and fans, winning over hearts, wherever you go!


Shevek enjoys going to the two big doggie parks in Iowa City, and he's quite famous there. He makes a habit of greeting all of the people who bring their pups - one of my friends has called him "The Mayor of the Dog Park." Recently, a colleague of mine met a new person who told him that she goes to the doggie park, too. He asked her if she knew me. She did not. Then he asked her if she knew Shevek - right away she exclaimed "Of course I know Shevek!" Shevek is more popular than me in Iowa City!

Great thanks to your mom/dad for sharing your and her/his heartwarming love story with us! Meeting you has warmed and brightened my cold, snowy day! I hope you're treated to a very special, fun filled day of celebration...meeting up with your pup pals at LuckyPawz doggie day care and the "big boys" bark park, cuddling with your mom/dad as she/he reads you to sleep, being loved and pampered to pieces!
