I’m so sorry your mom lost her daughter, but you were there right by her side to comfort and love her. A sweet girl like you is the best comfort there is! Both your mom and you are very lucky to have each other. :)

I loved seeing your pictures, you look so happy and relaxed - but wearing glasses is not quite your thing, is it! But you put up with it… and I bet you put a smile on your mom’s face. :D.

Dearest Opal, what a stunningly beautiful girl you are! You are so pretty with that soft-looking Dilute Calico fur and the sweet face with that cute pink nose and the lovely big Thank you for sharing all those great photos with us! You are adorable in every one of them. I wish I could reach through the screen and over to ...wherever you are in this country! to pet you. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me ;).

And what a touching story you have to tell. You have been your dear Purrrson's comfort as she's grieved the loss of her daughter. You've been by her side always, and whenever she's cried you rub all over her comforting her. You are so very sweet and loving, and also caring and empathetic. You have the loudest purr she's ever heard! You and she love each other dearly, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

I'm so, so very sorry to hear of the passing of your mommy's daughter.:( I can't even begin to imagine her heartache and grief. Thankfully a higher power gifted her you, a best furry friend to help heal her heart during those most indescribably difficult days, comforting her with your quiet, unconditional love and devoted companionship, your purrs. You couldn't have been more perfectly named, Opal, for you truly are a gem of a girl, relecting all the beauty that is your mommy's daughter, and her birthstone, to perfection.
