What a handsome Maine Coon boy you are! Your fluffy coat is beautiful, and looks so soft, and your green eyes are stunning. You also have the sweetest face.

I’m so glad you found a loving family after your previous one were unable to keep you. You soon made friends with their other cat, Herbie, but unfortunately, you only had one year with him. :(

Now, you rule the roost and spend time with sister Lucy, and you are demanding and vocal… your litterbox must be clean and your food bowl filled. :D

At night you snuggle up with your human. What a sweet companion you are!

Dearest Renfield, what a gorgeous Maine Coon Mix kitty you are! You are absolutely beautiful with that soft-looking fluffy brown tabby and white fur and that sweet face with the light-colored "mustache" under your nose and those lovely big eyes. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us! You look like royalty indeed, so noble and handsome in them! I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Portland to pet you, and pet your kitty-sister Lucy, too. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you both for me :).

And what a delightful story you have to tell! You came to your dear family from a shelter, to help comfort them in their grief over losing their beloved older cat. You quickly ruled the roost and became good friends with their other older cat Herbie. About a year later, Herbie died, and you were so sad, your Purrrsons got you another cat, Lucy! You love attention and let everyone know what you want and when you want it. You are shy with strangers, but once you get to know them a bit, you demand attention from them too. You are a terrific snuggler and a great napping companion and a fine brother for your sister Lucy. You and she and your dear Purrrsons all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

OK...Can't help but ponder how you came to be named. After the character in Bram Stoker's Dracula? Have a penchant for flies?;)

You came into your family's life during their time of heartbreak and great need, after the passing of your beloved predecessor, helping to heal not only your humans' hearts, but Herbie's as well, and what a fine job you did, stepping into your predecessor's pawprints. A legacy to be proud of! Sadly, within a year's time dear Herbie passed as well.:( But blessedly, before long, Lucy came along and finally, the joy and smiles returned to your and your family's days. How lucky your pawrents and fur sis Lucy are, having a sweet and loving cuddler in chief, a best friend and devoted companion in you, Renfield! You're a treasure, beautiful inside and out, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!

Great thanks to your furever family for choosing rescue, giving one most deserving kitty a 2nd chance at a happy life, a decision for which they will forever be thankful! Thanks for ending MY day with a big smile, sweetheart! I hope you're enjoying a very special day of celebration, cuddling with sister Lucy and your hoomans, being treated to all your hearat desires and more! And what a heartwarming story you have to tell: After your parents lost one of their older kitties, they found you at the shelter, giving you a second chance. You became good friends with the other older kitty, Herbie, who sadly passed away a year later. You were grieving for him, and your parents knew you needed a new friend. So they found you a sister, Lucy.
You are not shy about asking for everything you want, but you snuggle and cuddle in return.
Renfield, you are a special boy, and I wish you, Lucy and your parents a great day full of celebration and many more happy and healthy years together.

Renfield is a wonderful, gorgeous cat. Renfield came to us from a shelter where he had landed after his owners were unable to keep him. We got after our older cat died and he quickly ruled the roost and made fast friends with our other older cat Herbie. About a year later, Herbie died and Renfleld was so sad we had to get him another cat!

Renfield loves attention and is quite vocal and demanding about what he wants, including having his litter box cleaned and his food freshened first thing in the morning. He is very good at settling into the crook of your arm when he wants to sleep with you (no cat hair in the face). He is a bit shy with strangers but once he has seen people a few times he gets brave and demands attention from them as well.

Renfield is a love. He's a terrific snuggler and a great napping companion. He is also a good sibling to his cat sister Lucy.

You are a good sibling to your kitty-sister Lucy, who joined your family after your kitty-brother Herbie passed away. You have the household neatly wrapped around your paw, as it should be! You are also a most gorgeous camera star!
