We are think it is fun you are named for the NASCAR home city - after all, in good cat fashion, you can purr like a race car's engine! We are nt sure why you are so skittish around strangers, but that does bot matter - you love your family the best, and they love you! Hello Mr. Charlotte, What a handsome beautiful cat you are! I understand about being mistaken re sex of cat. My RB cat Luke was first thought by me to be a girl and I named her Lucy which I changed to Luke after a trip to the vet. Back to Mr. Charlotte, it really sounds as if you are a very special boy and your photos are simply beautiful. I hope you have many more happy healthy years. Congrats on being COTD!
