Mom moved to assisted living on Tuesday. We are both exhausted!

Binkey was brought there from the boarding kennel yesterday and there are enough familiar things around that he has settled in very well, although still has some stomach-slinking exploring to do! ;)

Regarding litter disposal, Mom was used to double bagging each day's batch in grocery-size plastic bags. Previously, she added this to household garbage as well, but there is hardly any of that now.

She actually wants me to BUY grocery bags from Walmart or etc so she can continue to use them. I bought small paper lunch bags but she said the urine would leak through.

And she will NOT use clumping litter. She uses Maxx Cat.

Any ideas? THANKS!

I bet you could ask at any grocery store and they'd be glad to give you a whole bunch of bags, and if not you would ask if they would mind if you took some from their bag recycling bins, if those are visible to store employees!

I use the plastic shopping bags which are free at Wal Mart, they work fine.:love:

I spoke with Mom yesterday. She used the small dog poop bags and they worked great.

Less waste of plastic, they're biodegradable, and cost $1.00 for 60 of them at the local Canadian Tire! :)
