Dearest little orange Aussie boy Sirocco, what a cute kitten you are! Only 13 weeks old, your photos already show you full of Purrrsonality. You are adorable, with your pretty orange fur with the white boots, and your lovely big eyes that match your fur. How good that you are bringing comfort to your Purrrsons in their grief over the passing of their dear Byron, and we know he is looking down with love from the Rainbow Bridge. I wish I could reach through the screen all the way around to Melbourne to pet you and rub your tummy! Oh, well, since I can't, I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will give you lots of pets and tum-rubs for me ;).

And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You love to run around and up and down the halls in your nice new home. It sounds like you live up to your windy name! I'd love to see you kick your tennis balls around, and what a good trick that is, remembering where you've stashed all your toys. And you are a champion eater. You are also very affectionate and have a sweet and placid nature. You and your Purrrents love each other very much, don't you! What a wonderful love-filled home you all share.

Sirocco has a very sweet and placid nature that matches his undoubted good looks. He still behaves like a kitten, doing kitten things as he discovers his world, but he also can be affectionate. He loves a pat and a tummy rub.

He loves his new home as he has a long corridor to race up and down and a set of stairs where he sits to ponder his new domain. It is clear that he now owns our house and we exist only to serve, as it should be.


Precious kitten Sirocco! You are adorable - with your white mitten-paws and your orange fur! You are good at remembering where you've placed all your toys, and you are already a specialist at running kitty sprints in the corridor! I would love to gently pet you or provide you with a tummy-rub, too because you're just so sweet! Happy, happy Cat of the Day to purr-fect ginger Sirocco! :love:

Now that's a record! With your humans but a mere 8 days and already nominated for Cat of the Day!:) No doubt you've captured their hearts, and the love you and they already share will only grow stronger and deeper with each passing day! I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved predecessor, Byron; such a heartbreaking time.:( But thankfully your humans have you, Sirocco, a lively, joyful, loving soul to help heal their hearts. And undoubtedly Byron is looking down on you all from the Rainbow Bridge, so happy to see his humans smiling again, knowing his legacy of love and friendship lives on in you! What a beautiful way to memorialize his spirit, opening up their home and hearts to another deserving kitty! Yes, Byron would most assuredly approve!

Great thanks to Melbourne Cat Society for their great work, for giving you safe harbor until your forever family could find their way to you! You're everything your humans could have hoped for in a ginger boy and then some, Sirocco, and I hope that you and they will know countless more days rich with love and laughter!
