Snoopy on frontpage : now with copy and translation of PAGE 5 !!

My little Snoopy is a famous dat now!
There is a fantastic cat-magazine here called "Majestijd".
I always buy it, it is very good, very high quality paper too!
I saw an article there where they ask people to send in a picture of their cat, together with a story about him/her.
So that's what I did a few months ago! I send 3 cute pictures of Snoopy (on one of those was Zazou too), accompanied by her story (how she was found, about her birth-defects, her character, and her cat-sisters.
They send me a mail back and thanked me for the sent mail. They said they liked the story and said they might use it one day.

Of course, I didn't really accept this, I thought it would even never happen.

Untill yesterday...! A friend sent me a message where she asked if that picture on the frontpage of Majesteit was about my own Snoopy...!
I googled a bit, and yep, there I saw the frontpage with my sweetheart!!

This morning my hobby went to the local newspapershop to buy the magazine!
WOW, on the frontpage is a full-page picture of Snoopy, and.... one the first page was this link "Snoopy, our cover-cat page 5".
And yes, she also got the full 5th page, with the other 2 pictures AND the story I wrote about her!! They didn't change a single word in my story!!

Yeah Yeah Yeah!! I am SOOOOOOOOO proud of my little sweetheart Snoopy!!

I don't think it is available in the USA ! It is a Dutch magazine (from Holland), and it is sold in both Belgium and The Netherlands.
Of couse, if you want that, I can send you one! But I don't know if will be able to read it, because everything is written in Dutch....;)

I don't think you will find it there, because the magazine only exists in Dutch!
But again, for those who would like a copy, I am most willig to go and buy some and then mail it to all those who would love one! There are lots of cute pics, and the paper is of a excellent quality! But of course if you don't have any notion of Dutch, you won't be able to onderstaand the texts..!

Covercat Snoopy is a special one!

We have 4 cats, Snoopy and her 3 older "sisters" . Maya (calico) & Zazou (tuxedo) came from a shelter, and our striped cat Inka was found in the fields.
But our cat Snoopy is a special one! She had a rough start, because her first owners didn't want her anymore because of her lame paw..... . They simply droppend her somewhere in the bushes. Luckily my hubby passed that place on his way from parkinglot to restaurant, so he heard her meow pitiful.
He took her home, and since then she is part of our family!
Snoopy's left frontpaw isn't fully grown. She only has 2 toes there and there is no bone in the part we would call "her hand".
She cannot walk on it, so she just hops around on her 3 legs. One thing she can do with it, is hit her 3 "sisters" !
Then there is also her underdevelopped breastbone; it consists of lose parts, and because of that her little heart lies there unprotected. You can see it beat, and you can also feel it beat! So we have to be very careful with her when we want to pick her up.
Despite that she is already 9 years old, she still isn't bigger than a 6 months old kitten. But she she doesn't care about that!
She can run as best of all, and she can jump very high, f.e. to the highest level of the scratch tree!

Oh yes, she hears perfectly!! But typical cat, she only replies or listens when it suits her...... LOL!
