What a stalwart and strong lady you are, Bobby! We think than one bent dow ear just gives you a look of experience, but you do not look a day over 6, never mind the 17 years you really are! It is wonderful that you were not only a good mother to your own kittens, but feel strongly that all other felines need to be protected as well! I am not surprised your bulldog family member left you alone after that one incident, as he knew what a fierce protector you are. And it is great you are just as serious about keeping your humans company, and watching over them, too! Congratulations, beautiful old girl, it is your day to shine!

Dearest Bobby, what a beautiful mature lady you are! You certainly do look like a mix of tabby and wildcat. And you look so sweet! I wish I could reach through the screen to Evensville, TN to pet you. Since I can't, I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you for me :).

You are clearly so full of character and Purrrsonality. You have been taking care of everyone all around you for all these years, feline and human. You keep the neighborhood dogs from getting too close. You've looked after all the kittens around you, not just your own. You are friend, mother, and protector to all the felines and humans in your territory.

Bobby, when I saw your first pic and saw your age I thought, "What a dear old face and kitty!" Your story tells even more wonderful things about you - your gentle, nurturing ways and protective spirit (which may not be so gentle, if a dogs are afraid to cross you! ;) )

Your colouring reminds me of what is called a torbie - bits of tortoiseshell colour in with the tabby stripes.

What a beautiful, adventurous, big hearted kitty you are, Bobby! At 17 years, you're as youthful in looks and spirit as a kitty half your age! And that sweet folded ear, a most endearing mark of distinction! At first I thought you might have a bit of Scottish Fold in you, until I read that it appeared suddenly!:eek: I guess we'll never know its origin, but it's certainly one of the things about you that makes you so extra special! I was so impressed, reading of your fierce devotion to not only your own babies and humans, but to all of the neighboring kitties and their babies, as well!:cool: Having been a mom to both doggies and kitties my entire life, I know first hand that in a "mixed family," the kitties rule! All it takes in one good swap across the nose to lay down law as to who's boss, right sweetheart?:D
