Oh, Béla, how fortunate your person's father found and rescued you that day, it is awful anyone would do that to an innocent kitty. We love the explanation of how you got your name, though we are sure you prefer the "King Béla" part over what an enthusiastic eater you were as a baby! We are glad you are there for you girl, so she not only has you, but a daily remembrance of her father who gave you to her. I don;t know why thresholds scare you, but hey, caution is always better than being foolish, right? Such a handsome boy, congratulations again, and we think all of Hungary should be proud of you today!

And of course King Bela, you are the namesake of Bela Lugosi the fine character actor , sadly stereotyped in horror roles when he was a far better actor than that.
You are such a Handsome Cat Bela, and you even have those magnetic piercing eyes of Mr Lugosi , you could hypnotize your way into bigger portions.

Such a kind and compassionate man! And what a most cherished gift your person was given, the day your Grandpa brought you home! I'm so, so very sorry to hear of his passing.:( But his gentle spirit and loving ways, a piece of him, lives on in you, and I know for you family that is a source of great comfort! Yes, you're a bit of a scamp, a bit of an avenger, a royal "diva," but I don't think your human would have it any other way!:D
