It's been a year since I adopted the dog no one wanted. I'm so thankful to Petfinder. I never would have found her, otherwise, as she was two hours away from me. Our story was a Happy Tails feature at Petfinder and in about ten newspapers across the U.S. She was an abused stray and was very timid when I first brought her home. She's still scared of stairs and always hesitates when I take her outside. It hurts to think what this sweet, sensitive dog has endured. But you'd never know she was abused. She loves everyone. It has done my heart good to see her "blossom". We've had many adventures outside. Go on lots of hikes. I've even taken her on a few paddleboat rides in a huge lake. She loves it. I still miss Dasher a lot but without Rose, I don't think I would have been able to go on. The grief was so strong. Couldn't have made a more perfect match. I love my delicate little flower.
