We are glad you eventually came to realize your new person was to be trusted, and we are glad he was patient enough to wait until you came around. That is all in the past, and now you have your own games, your own special understanding, and we know you are very happy together, even if neither one of you was sure of the whole deal at the start! Dearest Smokey Bear, you are adorable! What a gorgeous mature lady you are! You have the sweetest face there, with the look of so much love and contentment in your lovely green eyes. I wish I could reach through the screen over to Edmonton to pet you and gently skritch you under your chin. Well, since I can't, I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you and skritch you loads for me :).

And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have, too! It took you time to warm up to your Purrrson, but I'm so glad you did eventually. Now you are the closest of companions! You love to be brushed, playing hard to get for fun.. And you even get to enjoy backyard moth-hunting excursions! You and he/she love each other dearly, don't you! What a wonderful love-filled home you share.

And I'm sure you've heard this many times, but it's hard to believe you're 15 years young!:eek: You look like a youngster!:cool: We're so grateful to your *special person* for opening up her/his heart to you in your time of great need, in need of a loving and committed forever home and human! And speaking of need, your mom/dad may not have known at the time that she was in need of another kitty, but you proved her wrong, didn't you?:D

We are so thankful to your person for her patience, for giving you all the time and space you needed to settle into your new digs, to learn to love and trust again. But how well her (AND your) patience have been rewarded, for in the end you both were rewarded with that most priceless of gifts...unconditional love! Beautiful Smokey Bear! I smiled when I read about how your person visited you in the bedroom, but you figured out the best spots in the house by playing with your person! I smiled when I read about how you purr, collapse and turn somersaults while you are being brushed :love: You stay inside most of the time, but you go outdoors every now and again, and bring your person a gift :eek:!
