2 Border Terriers

There 2 gorgeous Border Terriers at the Adopt All Center in Mt. Pleasant, SC. I can't believe no one came and retrieved their pets. They came in as strays together. They are all Border Terriers and even have on matching collars. They look to be about 5 or 6 years old. I volunter at this shelter and just met them yesterday. They are very close to one another and I pray they get a home together. I am not sure but I think one of them is older than the other, One is fat and the other one is skinny. Both are very sweet and well behaved.

You know, the more I hear about how some pets are treated, the less I am surprised. I for one could never abandon a pet but if the circumstances are such, I would take a pet to a shelter for adoption. Although we sometimes look down on folks who "give up" their pets, it sure beats dumping them on the side of the road. Strays are another story. Sometimes animals travel for miles, lost and unable to get back home. Sometimes they are given the boot and have to find a new home on their own. I would spend unlimited hours looking for my pets. To each his own, I suppose.

I hope these pups find a good, forever home. Such sadness.

The good news is it is an Adopt all Center and they will not be put to sleep. Little dogs go really fast too. My worry is them being spilt up. They need each other.
