Lung Cancer

Haven't been around much lately. We've been dealing with our Muffin who's been throwing up for several months off and on. We finally requested an x-ray to see if there was some reason and we found a shadow in her right lung. Over the last two weeks, we've been back and forth to Iowa State University Veterinary School where we found out it was lung cancer. Today, we went for her to have a CT scan to see if it was operable. It was and following the CT scan she went directly in to surgery and had the caudal lobe of her right lung removed. Horribly stressful.

I am very sorry to hear about your pet's suffering but thank to God that surgery has been done and Muffin will recover quickly. Take care of yourself and your pet.
