Bosun has passed.

Bosun was diagnosed with mouth cancer in November, so I knew she didn't have much time. But we had almost 2 months to say goodbye, and last night was the time. She was lying comfortably in her blankets, and I went over to pet her and she was unresponsive. I'm glad she's now out of pain but will miss that feisty tortie girl.:love:

I am so sorry about your loss. I am going through that right now with Oliver (same cancer), so I know what you went through in those last 2 months.

That a sad occasion another one of our very Special Cats has passed on.
We do miss our Cat Companions, and the fact that their special friendship is no longer there, but I remember someone posting a card with a Black Cat leaving his home to a new Cat so they can be loved too.
And there will be a time where Bosun , all our Angels and we will all be reunited in a Great Place in Paradise forever.

My SO and I were telling Bosun stories last night. She could be a bit of a door-dasher. In August we got our satellite system upgraded, and they were in and out of our house, including the basement. After they went we did our usual head count...no Bosun! I looked downstairs, and noticed the door was open. I wonder...I went out the back, and there she was, sitting by the oil tank, as if to say, "Well?! It's about time you found me and took be back inside!"
