Raw hide chews for my Border Collie

He like Pork Chomps Twists w/Bacon Flavor. They are kind of expensive. $5 for 4 of em. He won't work on plain raw hide, even with
peanut butter spread on them. There was a Barbecue flavored chew, from New Zealand, that I bought at Target. I have not seen
those in a while. Any ideas on a less expensive chew, that my BC would like?

Raw hide really is not that good for them. I don't use it as it gives my dogs the runs.

Good chews include:
- bully sticks
- dried beef trachea
- sliced raw sweet potato
- sliced raw carrots

The last 2 help clean the teeth.

Definitely see if he'll chomp a carrot - our Saint Bernard used to adore them! Hmm, I wonder of our New Zealand Pet Talker, Carole, knows of a source for you!

Karen, we have New Zealand treats here in the US, I don't see anything to suggest he is living in NZ.
