The whole house to the cats

I saw some months ago on tv (don't remember which channel) a couple from the States that refurbished the house as a cats' house, as they said "We're all day long at work. The house is mainly our cats' house, because they spend their most time here, so they should feel free to walk from one room to the other". I LOVED what they did to their house. One of these days I thought - Maybe those people are also PetTalkers!!!!! I would love to see more pictures of their happy kitties and their kitty furniture.

I think I saw the same thing...are you talking about the house with all the neat walkways for the cats that ran along the tops of the walls in every room? I thought that was so different and unique. My dream house would have something like that...not in all the bedrooms though and clear tunnels for the ferrets to run through that went through the walls in almost every room in the house too...and of course...somebody else to clean it all! :D

I've seen variations on that. When I get my own house, I will definately have a cat room with cat furniture and those shelves high up to walk on. I probably won't have enough money to do the WHOLE house though. Besides, the dogs might get a little jealous :D

Yes, Chinadoll, exactly. That one with the walkways. I guess, you saw it also on tv? I should surf the net. If they did so much for their kitties, maybe they have posted some pictures somewhere?

They have written 2 books, both of which I have entitled
Cats Into Everything, and The Cat's House by Bob Walker. They have the BEST pictures in them. I would suggest picking them both up!!

oh and yes, Vio, I saw it on TV...It was either a special on TLC(The Learning Channel) or HGTV(Home and Garden) I love watching those two channels and seeing what people have done with their homes....anyone else watch Trading Spaces?
