We ove that story of you in the cupboard serving yourself Wendell it reminds me of an Orange Maine Coon who used to live in a Ryans Pet Food store.
He was allowed to stay all night until they found that he had nibbled the ends of several bags of Cat Food , and they had to discount them.
My Cats got a deal one day.

Dearest Wendell, what an utterly gorgeous handsome distinguished gentleman Coonie-mix kitty you are! What beautiful soft fluffy fur you have, so many pretty colors, and what a sweet face, with those pale-green eyes looking out at us with so much wisdom.

You are not only gorgeous to look at, you have a delightful Purrrsonality, attracting attention with your antics such as barking like a dog and your friendliness to everyone you meet. And your Purrrsons love you dearly and you love them right back, snuggling up with Meowmie at night and sleeping by her head or on her.

Be careful laying down in dresser drawers and hiding in the pantry.. you might find yourself shut in! (Though perhaps the pantry visit was planned, what with the food stored in there?...)
